Funding Opportunities

Are you interested in registering for therapeutic riding, but unable to cover the costs? We believe that therapeutic riding should be accessible to all. We have put together a few resources that may be available to you and your family to help cover the costs of riding.

If you need help, please let us know. We can help direct you towards the appropriate funding avenue, or may be able to set you up with a community sponsor. Members of our generous community have donated in the past to help cover the costs of riding for families who need assistance. At FSTRA, we believe everyone should have the freedom to ride.

KidSport is a national initiative promoted through Sport Nova Scotia to ensure all children have access to participating in registered sports. KidSport will approve up to $300 per child, per calendar year for sport registration and/or equipment. Approval is  based on Statistics Canada Low Income Cutoffs.
